Hi all,
Just wanted to ask your advice. Whom do you use as your insurance provider in Australia? Most of the car insurance companies that I approached still do not have the i30cw in their systems.
Also, if you could let me know approximately how much it costs, it would be much appreciated!
Many thanks in advance. Cheers!

Thanks, Darryl. Most of the discussions are on the i30 hatch. I am after one on the i30cw. I got an indicate quote from AAMI today...AUD$825 premium per annum...more expensive than my previous Commodore that was insured for only AUD$18000 (about AUD$700 premium) and my Golf GT that was insured for AUD$35000 (about AUD$630 premium).
When I asked AAMI why a car worth only about AUD$29000 cost so much to insure, she went on a bit about different suburb, different owner, etc...but then I said...hello, same owner, same suburb...she had nothing else to say...

I woulds be surprised if the insurance premiums for a CW are much if any different to the hatch..
If you are over 25 y/o and don't intend doing any performance mods.. try Allianz (I pay less than $400 per annum on my hatch via a broker although I have nominated no drivers under 30y/o)
It is definately worth shopping around.. $825 is too dear...
