Title: Installing a boost gauge to GD i30 ???
Post by: tohis on May 25, 2014, 18:59:50
I'd like to install a boost gauge to my GD i30 (1.6 CRDi 128hp), however there's some uncertain things in the way...

Is there any easy place where to put the sensor? I found a thread where agentr31 has installed the boost gauge into his FD, but I would not want to drill a hole to the intercooler like he did.

Another thing is, where to get power for the backlight? Preferably the way it would also dim with the other backlights in the dashboard. With these modern cars it's risky to steal power from any wire which seems to have power when needed.  :undecided:
