Title: Year 2 service
Post by: eye30 on May 27, 2014, 16:45:29
Just had it serviced and the only items replaced were:

Oil filter
Oil
air con filter

The rest was inspect.

They wash it for me

PS
I'm getting a new key fob under warranty because where the lock section is the rubber had split.

Price?

Got discounted 3 year plan when i bought the car for £200 instead of £350 i think.

So year 1, interim, is circa £120
Today i was told year 2, major, would have cost me  £203
And year 3 same as year 1

So total = £443.

Now if you do over 10k then unless changed from my schedule you do not have interim.

So plan is vfm for less than 10k miles but not for more than 10k

My year 3 will be free...........

Yes, and it's splitting lengthwise now....Won't be long before it's completely stuffed, but it's ok cos' Hyundai says it's fair wear and tear....  :head_butt:

By the way Lester, do you have fingernails?  :whistler:

Yes and the chap mentioned that it maybe due to me using to press.

I said that my old car fob, 7 years old, is like brand new with no evidence of split and reminded him that he actually had hold of that fob last week when i took the car in for the brake switch recall.

I had the same but were too embarrassing to wear so I threw them out! Pity I didn't know you then we could have swapped your two white ones for my two black...  :goodjob: :snigger:
