Title: Greetings from Croatia!
Post by: Shamanix on June 18, 2008, 21:05:20
Hi all!  I am new here..  Found you on wikipedia I think.. hehe  :D Grrrr...
Anyone knows how to fast forward the time !?
Does anyone have experience with LPG in i30 ? How does it perform ?
Unfortunately they didn`t have LPG installed in test car I`ve driven..  :|

I just hope I won`t loose too much engine power and fun I had with i30 on test drive.
But hey, it is a trade off for ~50% cheaper fuel..

Welcome Shamanix - The wait will seem like forever!

We picked up our new i30 tonight and went out for a drive - I tell you, it's a nice little car - great fun to drive. You've made a good choice, mate.

Hi shamanix, welcome aboard.

Glad my wikipedia edit did some good. You've joined a great i30 forum here mate  :D  and will enjoy your ride when it arrives. It is worth the wait believe me

Hi shamanix... A very big welcome..

As I've said before we just luv overseas members (around 80% of us are in Australia)

You are the first I know of with the 1.4 and haven't heard of anyone else using LPG (official or otherwise) so we will be keen for your feedback.

If anyone else has these features I'm sure they will be quick to give you information..

Hope your wait goes quickly (a lot of our members have waited three months and more...)

Thanks for joining and thanks to Shambles for the Wikipedia edit (great idea M8!)

Rgds,

Dazz

Thanks for the warm welcome and thanks Shambles for editing wiki  ;)

To speed up the wait, it would be great someone can provide me with i30 manual for me to read..
There is one here but its quality is very poor  :(

Thanks a lot!

Why don't you ask your dealer if he can lend you one? - I think the pdf file on this site may have been done by one of the members and personally I was really grateful to have something to read before I got the car. It must have been a real job to scan all of those pages, then make the pdf.

I imagine it would have taken several hours, given how small and stiff the guide is. I also believe the quality improves dramatically after the first 20 pages or so.

As you say though, better than nothing... just.

Welcome Shamanix,

Good luck Croatia against Turkey tomorrow night in Euro 2008 as Slavin Bilic played for the team I support - Everton.

Shamanix,

Croatia had all the play, scored with 2 minutes to go, Turkey score within 30 seconds and loose on penatlies.

At least you'll have the i30 to look forward too.

Who will will Euro 2008 now?

I fancy Spain.

Yea mate.. everything happened in the last minute of extra time, but overall we ware better and should have won, but thats football.. hehe

Good thing is that I might get my car before the deadline they said in the first place.. so I am looking forward to it..

I think Germany vs Spain will play in the finals, but Germany will take the title home...  :)
