Hi all,
I dont have my i30 yet but looking at some pics posted of the car deck dont see anything that would be used to control the ipod if connected. how do you use the deck to control the ipod ? does anyone have any pics using the ipod through the deck ?
Thanks
Andy :D :D

G'day Andy,
I use my iPod every day in my car and only ever had 1 instance where my iPod and the car became out of sync and i had to hard reset the iPod, no troubles otherwise.
When controlling the ipod the knob on the left helps you select the song, while pressing it in allows you to begin playing.
also, steering wheel controls rock with my iPod!!
ok so, to select a playlist i press the FLDR button to get to the top menu, select either playlists, songs, artist, etc, then scroll to say the playlist i want, then can scroll the the specific song i want then press play, or can press it immediatly and play the first song.
when not using playlists i just go to songs, play the first song and press the random button while using steering wheel controls to skip whatever songs i dont like, and thats only because i havent set up many playlists yet.
hopefully that explains it, if not i can take a quick vid of me flicking through my iPod as a demonstration if you like

Now I only listen to my iPod when driving, and usually Podcast,
In the iPod menu in the i30 you cant select Podcast, which is strange, so to listen to my podcast i'll have to create a playlist and put the podcast files in there,
Im hoping that hyundai will change this and make podcast available in the menu,
another thing, the podcast i listen to are usually about 100 - 150+ minutes and the display only goes to 60 minutes (i think) so it goes to 0 again,
kind of hard to explain, anyone here who knows what im talking about?

I've noticed with my 2 - 2.5 hour mp3's that the display gets to 99:59, and then resets to zero
