Down in London for a couple of days consulting at Imperial College.
Just been out for some food and spotted this parked up in the heart of Kensington.

Not upgraded to the gd yet

I wonder if our cops will ever downsize from the Commodore/Falcon size car?

:TutTut: :snigger: Don't want to stir but it looks like a silver one to me ,is that so they can creep up on the crims.

I've seen them in ix35s up here. As well as plenty of iMax (or iLoads)
The i30 seems to be the weapon of choice for councils and government departments, though.

Those parking bays look tiny! Or is it just me?
EDIT: It looks like the VW? on the opposite side of the road suffered a flat :p

The parking bays in UK are small believe me, I was recently over there. They have to squash a lot of motors on their limited road space. :whistler:  I always thought it was a bonus if I could find a car space in England recently, and one nearly always had to put a couple of pounds in the meter. 'Park and pay' gone mad. :blubber:

We have a few i30s over here, plus ix35s and Santa Fe's.
-
UK members who are sad enough to watch* the soap known as "Emmerdale" will see the local force has upgraded to a GDH i30. It looks really smart, all liveried up :)
*Disclaimer: I'm not that sad, but I occasionally get the foghorn shouting "Steve... there's another one like yours", only for me to reply "It's the same bloody one as last time - they only have the one car "

Unlike the 60's show, "Skippy" the bush kangaroo. They aren't easy to train, so it was cheaper to round up wild skips from the bush and let them go after filming.
-
Ok, I'm confused....
-
Me 2
-
Me 3 (BTW, what are we confused about?)
-
:whsaid:
-
Skippy?
-
The Kangaroos seen on the show were different ones, not a singular entity, like lassie or mr ed.

But how did we get from Baconmobiles to Skippys? :undecided:
Did I miss something?
-
I blame Shambles.
-
Well, it's a change from me being blamed. :)
-
I betcha you were behind it all, Dave...
-
I blame Shambles.
Include me out. Arse :P
-
Shambles and I are NEVER responsible. :D

Quite right, too.
