No problems, thanks for letting me be apart of it. Isn't my puppy a cutie!

Yeah Boulder is apart of Kalgoorlie, but 1000km away from Perth not quite ( although it does feel like it at times)  its only 600 kms, So that will be the trip i will be doing when i pick up my car! As I have to pick it up from there.

Hopefully some more regional WA people will join so them we can all get together and catch up over a few! :P

Cheers, BeeJay

Maybe when you go to Perth to pick up your car one or two of the W.A. boys could catch up with you?

Enjoy the car and the club...

Hi BeeJayi30,

Welcome to the forum. ‘Glad to see another one joining the ranks of the ‘SR’ owners.

I lived out at Merredin for 8 months in 2005, and wish I had my i30 then for those trips to Perth. I think I would have looked forward to the journey.
I was out at Kal’ on Tuesday morning, but in the work vehicle (see below).

looking forward to seeing some pics of your new ride when you get it. (i'm talking about his car, shambles!  ;-)

Well the vehicle is slary sacraficed through work, So i can get a few extra at little cost to put on it.

I am getting the usual - tint, rust, inside and outside glasing, floor mats. but i am also getting the ipod thingy, front and rear parking sensors, reversing camera! (you can get one) Portabable sat nav (which has been delivered and signed off, by someone I dont know, so they are chasing that up)

So they said it will take you to two weeks to do it all due to some are done by the dealer and the rest are done by the salary sac company.

Counting down the days!

Gee BeeJayi30.  Where do you get the rust option?  That wasn't offered to me, but can't say I would have wanted it.  Do you get a 5 year warranty on the rust too?

heheh hopefully i do get the 5 year warranty for it! :oP

It was offered to me, it is surprising that it wasn't offered to you. i used to work in dealerships in perth and it was in the aftermarket side of things that it was offered to you. its only good for living near the beach (tough luck for me on that side - 4 hours away)  but i though it was a good option to have when it I finally own it and then go to resell it for a brand new i30. Where to get it from i dont really know, plus the cost i wouldnt have a clue. it is usually bout 1200 bucks, from what i remember from the dealership days
