Just called my local dealer to check service costs for my i30 crdi active blue drive and told I had the option on the first service of either a £133.95 optional service or a free health check.
So was wondering what peoples thoughts were. Should I go for a service as normal or go for the health check and bank the saving to help with next years service and air con service (£310)?
Cheers in advance.

For my gd the first service was 20,000 miles or 2 years.
However, if you do less than 10,000 miles in 12 months they recommend an interin service which is oil change plus health check.
As i had a 3 year service plan and only do circa 6,000 miles pa now i had the interim.
Just check the warranty conditions to make sure if you miss the interim you are still covered.
Ps welcome

hi i have a email from hyundai i saying that i30 service is 20,000 miles or 2 years which comes first, they recommend oil and filter at 10,000 miles AND IT IS NOT MANDATORY TO VALIDATE THE WARRANTY. AND YOU ARE ENTITLED TO 5 YEARS OF ANNUAL HEALTH CHECKS FROM THE DAY OF REGISTRATION AND THESE ARE FREE.
