Hi guys, got my Hyundai i30 1.6 dl a week ago. I'm getting 53.3 miles to the gallon at the moment. That includes in town, out of town

I am getting 53 mpg on the first tankfull of diesel. That includes local, motorway (70mph) and A roads (60mph), is this good?

I reckon that's a pretty decent return so early in the life of the engine. Give it 5000 miles and start checking again... you'll be right up near 60mpg (I get 61.5 consistently with 24000 miles almost up)

well...

i do on full tank 860 km no problem, and this is when i travel zagreb - sarajevo...

there is only 220 km of highway in one direction (one way trip is 430km)...
driving on highway at 154 km/h (gps speed).... and other roads 80-120 km/h

(now at 13.500km)

but.. i do like to have very fast acceleration... :D and very very dynamic driving :D
