I just received an marketing email from my dealer with this gem.
"Do not attempt to put down electric windows when they are wet as this could cause problems with the internal electronics."
Gotta be kidding. :lol:
I can imagine the conversation for a warranty claim... "You wound the window down when it was wet? Gee I'm sorry, we can't fix that under warranty - what were you thinking?"

How would us in GB go on, where it's always fkin raining :rolleyes:
If this is genuine they should recall all models and fit a blade of some kind to clear the rain as it rolls down.

Next they'll be telling us to not use the wipers when it is not raining because they will scratch the screen :rolleyes:

ps Can you take a picture of the base of the window where it slides into the door and I'll do same.
We'll compare just to see if the oz model has a different sealing system.
