I have fitted a HID dip beam system and when driving home last night noticed that when I put my main beam on the main beams appeared slightly lower than the dip beams!
Is there any way of adjusting the main beams up?
Or do I have to adjust the dip beams down and then raise the whole lot using the adjuster in the car?
Thanks.

Not knowing any more detail, I would assume your latter option is the right one if both beam systems are housed in the one enclosure. :goodjob:

Just reading what you have wrote and how Ihave under stood it,it almost sounds as if the Low beam bulbs are not seated correctly, the only other explaination is that HID but out a totally different type of light and will go further than Holagen globes.
Both high and low beam are adjusted at the same time in the FD

By the dashboard adjuster.
They can also be adjusted individually at the lamps. Each lamp has two holes through the valance marked <U D> and <R L> for a screwdriver to turn the bevel gear adjusters.
In the OP's case it seems the fitting of the HIDs has mis-aligned the setting.

I removed one of the headlamp units earlier and was looking at the adjuster mechanisms.
It seems that when you adjust the up and down either manually on the adjuster or from inside the car it moves both the dip beam and main beam units together.
Not sure how I am going to get around this problem yet.

Yes, you can only adjust the complete headlight assembly.
1 screw adjust the assembly sideways, the other one adjusts up/down.

It would appear that the HID bulb is not seated correctly or has an off centre light output.
