Title: 7500km Optional service

Hi there,

I must admit I'm not familiar with diesels and would like to change my oil (ACEA B4) and filter on my Crdi 2014 in between the 15000km.

Is there a concensus on whether there is a need to run a cleaner in the oil prior to draining or other specific procedure on diesels?

I personally don't encourage oil flushing but I'm referring to older engines that have sludge buildup in places.

The best way to keep an engine clean is to change oil regularly and use good quality oil and filter.

As long as you're usung a good quality, correct grade of full synthetic oil, cleaners are not necessary and most likely against the warranty conditions of the engine, so IMO no, don't do it.
