hi my i30 radio/mirrors etc fuse keeps burning out anybody else have this problem or know how to fix it
-
If it's still under warranty, let the dealer fix it.
If it's not, see how many devices run off that fuse. If radio and mirrors only, depending on your confidence of skill, try disconnecting either mirrors or radio to isolate the fault.
I'd try whatever is easiest, suspecting the mirrors as the more likely cause (moving parts). :victory:

Sounds like you have a short to earth. Do you notice if it happens when you do something specific like adjusting mirrors up, or is it any time you turn ignition on?

Yes, the fuse is designed to blow, rather than allow damage to your existing wiring. A device that uses this fuse is drawing too much current, so disconnect all devices, then reconnect each one individually and thoroughly test, 1 at a time. The faulty component should blow the fuse and you will at least know what needs fixing.
