Title: i30 GD Sunroof/hood lining repair

A colleague recently pointed out what appeared to be a water stain in the rear of my i30 GD.
After taking it in to my service centre, they've advised that it appears to be a glue leak (apparently the glue has somehow gotten hot enough to seep through the lining), and that repair will consist of a new hood lining and sunroof frame.
Thankfully the car is under warranty, however due to the cost of the parts, it will need authorisation from Hyundai Australia.
Parts apparently are $5000 total for this repair, and will take a minimum of one day to fix, possibly two.

Good pickup by your colleague.  Hopefully Hyundai don't delay in getting the authorisation for the repair.

I've just dropped the car in for repair today, sticker price was just a touch over $5530. Very thankful for warranty!
I have to tip my hat off to the guys at the service centre, they are fantastic.

They could have kitted the whole car out in leather for that price!  :Shocked:
