I thought I'd share an interesting experience that just happened to me...
Well it started a month or two ago... I got a message via Facebook that an old schoolmate was trying to contact me!
I only have a Facebook & Myspace account because my kids and a friend invited me to set one up (but I'm not very active)
Anyway, this guy who I can barely remember (it was 38 years since we saw each other .. tracks me down and last night we went out for a bite of Tea..
He lives in WA and races Drag Bikes (like Lakes does) and came to Tassie mainly to visit relatives...
Turns out we used to live in the same street (something I had forgotten) and
It turns out he can remember my first day learning to ride a push bike and all these other experiences that I can barely remember..
We had a great chat (for about 5 hours!) it was amazing (and quite spooky :eek:)

So much spooky stuff going on these days mate.
Like yourself I also have the Facebook, Myspace thing set up but also don't use them.
Over here we have friendsreunited which started out as a contact-your-schoolmates website but has since become very commercialised and includes workplace reunions etc etc. Again, I abandoned my interest some time ago.
BUT NOT BEFORE I'd been contacted by a girl from my primary school days, over a 3 month period, late last year. I could barely remember this kid but from the things she was suggesting we meet up and do, I reckon I was missing out on some catchup fun. Except that the more pics Michaela sent me the more I started to recall. And then came the point I remember her as Michael. Dammit shes made a fine woman, if you can forgive the adams apple
