Title: busted window regulator

hey all. long story short. drivers window reg, has self destructed. where would the best (cheapest) place to get a window regulator from. I've found them on ebay for $175 posted. and i'll price around tomorrow locally.

i didnt think of recall. where is the best place to find that out?

also. i've already pulled the door skin off and wedged a couple pieces of wood in there to stop the window falling down. and just disconnected the window motor.
there is abit of labour involved. its just fiddly.

I did the same thing for Mrs G's SEAT Cordoba a couple of times, right down to the blocks of wood. I eventually perfected the restoration of the brittle plastic carriages that raise the glass on vertical rails. :victory:
