Title: Guess where I went today.
Post by: FatBoy on November 16, 2014, 20:58:29: I had a day off today, so I decided to go for a wander. This is where I ended up.

We got off our train at Waterloo, and then walked from there to the London Eye, up past Big Ben and the House of Parliament, down past Downing Street to Trafalgar Square, up to Leicester Square, then back down to the Thames for a stroll to the Tower of London and Tower Bridge, across the bridge and back down the other side of the river back to Waterloo station. A loooooooong walk.

When I was in the Navy, our ship berthed at Canary Wharf, so I was already familiar with the DLR. Public transport in the UK is much better than anywhere I have seen in Australia.
