my i30 FD rear passenger door remains locked. cannot open either from in side or outside, the central locking would not activate this door, any suggestion on how to open this door?

Looks like you have a very early model '07? So out of warranty. Sounds like the actuator in the lock has given up the ghost which is fairly common in Hyundais. Out of warranty it could be expensive so try several different dealers (if you can) for the best price .. labour would be the main component I suspect.

Wasn't it Cruiserfied that said that if you get window down and repeatedly activate inside and outside handle at the same time the door will surrender sooner or later... :question:

Close. Put the window down and unlock with remotes repeatedly while "helping" the lock button on the door by hand.
