Title: Drivers window vibration/ rattle
Post by: jgeorge on November 25, 2014, 17:44:48
Hello, I have a 2013 i30 blue drive active. Nice little car but the drivers window seems to vibrate particularly on poor quality roads and on roundabouts. Vibration is intermittent and  disappears when window is slightly down. Took to hyundai dealer and they couldn't identify the cause. Wonder if anyone had suggestions/ideas. Many thanks in advance

Is it sitting correctly in the moulded groves or have they been flattend so the window isn't  seated right into the moulding?

Hi jgeorge

 :wttc:

A very good sealer could solve it, but I guess that's not the solution you want...  :whistler:

:wttc:  Hopefully someone on here can explain how to access the glass mounting area of the door so you can maybe modify it with a bead of silicone or something :undecided:
