Hello forum friends
i have seen these parking sensors http://www.parkingdynamics.co.uk/
it's called eps system and works with electromagnetic waves
I'm interested to put these as i don't want holes to the back of my car
has anyone put these to his car ? or having photos about the installation to a i30?
the dealer offer me the classic sensors for free but i thought 4 holes to a new car (from local dealer mechanics) is something that i definitely not want..

I downloaded their installation guide (rear sensors). You do have to remove the bumper you know?
Other than that it looks quite easy to install, and using electromagnetic waves rather than ultrasound looks quite novel.
Can't see anyone who's fitted this type of system but I say "go for it Ranger!"

One of the engineers I work with made a similar system like this for people who wanted proximity sensing without putting holes in their cars. Most of the ones he made ended up on older luxury sports cars like Ferrari's etc where the owners didn't want to spoil the original look of the car.

or in new special cars like i30 (red color of course)
if a Ferrari has these on then an i30 can be a match!!!!:)

Good luck my Greek friend!!
(PS.. don't forget to smoke plenty while you're fitting it :D)

You can get wireless reversing camera /screen combos over here for around A$250 or sometimes less.. (better than sensors?)

i bought the system from a local dealer at 70 euro (120 AU$) the same dealer has a wireless reversing camera with screen at 140 euro (240AU$)
now remain the fitting but because is summer and the sea is calling i thing it might be late a little....

Yes but i don't want to pass cables inside the car in my opinion is no good in a new car to reassemble the dash, the seats etc ..

Thanks but I don't smoke although most of the Greeks does
and from 1st July the smoking is banned on closed places in Greece....

I thought the wireless functionality reduced the need for wiring (except for power to the screen)

Let us know when they're on how effective they are. It'll be interesting to know whether there are any blind spots and whether it works in the rain and such. Certainly a very appealing idea, not having to drill holes.
Very important that it's reliable though, I had park assist (not this type) on a car once and I relied on it when the rear window was snowy and backed in to something.

Has anybody tries these no-drilling parking sensors?
I'm probably going to order front&rear vision set, but would like to hear some experiences before.
