We are doing a family day trip to Hobart today to attend "The Taste" festival today. Mmmm, Tasmanian produce. I'm looking forward to sampling food from all over the state; seafood (oysters and scallops), vegetables, cheeses, beef, wallaby; all put into magnificent dishes with different themes. Last time I sampled Ethiopian, Indian, Japanese, Malaysian and French.
Here is the website:

Forever will be, FatBoy.

Oh, there was bacon there, Phil!!
We are back, left just before the storm hit. Started off with a fried oyster roll (delicious), then we tried a pulled pork taco, followed by tempura mushrooms, then seafood paella, finished with icecream. All washed down with a cider from Franks.
Off to have a sleep now.

We like going to the food festivals as well, I'm amazed how she remembers a dish after one tasting an then replicates them at home for me ( good for me as I cant cook for s""t ), with her Malaysian/Indian heritage she does some mean curries too :D
