Hi
I have a 2014 I30 that was reading out the sms and then allowing me to verbally reply to the sms through the media automatically. When the sms came in I either said "listen" or "ignore" and then once the msg was spoken I could say "reply" "ignore" or "callback".
This required me to do nothing apart from paring my mobile in when I first bought it and it was a 4year old HTC window phone.
Now I have a HTC One M8 which I have paired in all good and can receive and make telephone calls ok. However the sms function won't work at all and HTC just say its the software of the car. Under Setting I have ticked Google text-to-speech option and have chosen English for both Language and Voice Data.
I then downloaded from the Play Store New Car Mode which is supposed to do this feature but its not working.
All would of been good if it had never worked on my old mobile as I would not know what I am missing, but must admit I have got used to this function and would love to have it working.
Does anyone know of any other app that would work with both my mobile and my car?
Sorry for the long posting hope I have made sense :D :D

I have a 2012 Active and was not aware of this feature.
Someone else will be able to answer it for you, I'm sure. :)

:welcome: Georgie...
Great feature, I'll have to see if my (non i30) will do that! My wife has a 2014 Tourer but she doesn't bother pairing her basic phone. So not much help sorry.
Hopefully Craig or one of our other gadget gurus will spot your post soon! :goodjob:
