Hello,
I purchased a new i30 elite a couple of months ago and have generally been pretty happy except for one thing. A couple of weeks after getting the car the shift lock release button popped out by itself. At the one month service they advised they had to order a new button in, and it was replaced a week or so after the service.
The same thing happened again a week after it was supposedly replaced the first time.
Has anyone else had similar problems with this button popping out and did you have issues getting it fixed?
Cheers!

No

:welcome: Well that is an odd one (can't recall anyone reporting it before) :undecided:

Hmm, must just be unlucky then. Will have to book it in again :(

You may want to prompt them to think about what else holds the button in place. They may need to replace something different. :goodjob:

I took it back a couple of weeks ago. They've now ordered a new cover for it instead. Was supposed to take 2 weeks for the part to come in but haven't heard anything yet.
Fingers crossed it arrives soon and it's the correct part this time which fixes the problem.
