Hey there, If anyone has a copy of this TSB (SE07207) I would love a copy.
It deals with installing 2 steering rack spacers (P# AL522-1H100) on SX and SLX models.
Stops the tyres on the 17x7 SR rims from rubbing on the body of these 'lower' models.
Thanks......

Who's a clever little vegemite
DR will be pleased when he comes back on line..
Not only will it stop the tires rubbing but it might help his death rattle too

Rather than comprimise my access to GSW i will post them up but i can only see what looks like AUS spec TSB's....
-
Reecho - I love you -
And as for other tsb's, Heck yes please :P

Hey all.. i think this may be somewhat related to what i am posting in a thread in the wheels/tyres? would i be correct in saying this is what i need to put 17" SR alloys onto a standard sx? i read this thread but the link to the Tech Details seem to be removed?
-
You are right... This is what you need but it must have got pulled when we got a directive :undecided: to say we were not allowed to host these TSBs .. Not sure if anyone has a copy we can track down for you?
I just looked at the other section which has some TSB links but I couldn't see this one amongst them... :disapp:

Thanks Shambles ur a lifesaver! that is exactly what i was after. Now i just need to see if i can buy the spacers separately as when i went to Hyundai they said they have never ordered the part before because when people buy the rims directly off them they already come with them as part of a pack.
Then i have the dilemma of hoping the tyre place would be able to do this mod when fitting the tyres, otherwise i will have to buy the tyres from place X and then take to Hyundai and get them to fit them
-
Most tyre places should be able to fit them (Isn't that right Trev) :D

Any which have mechanics should be able to.
Not sure how this would go down at BJ's because old Bob won't allow his stores to do mechanical work - even related to steering. However, I'm led to believe many have a way around that edict. :whistler:
