Title: New I30 ES

I have just put a deposit down on an I30 ES (red). Just waiting for a new log book for my old MGF which I love but I'm scrapping. :-(

Got it for £8,400 my local garrage wanted to charge a £250 admin fee to sell the car to me but phoned around others and they didn't have such a charge.

Cant wait to pick it up!

Its just the basic 1.4L cumfort with a few extras. I read they are only making 500. Don't know if that is true but Hyundai seem to have sold out and there is only stock in some dealers.

Yes that was the price until the 1st July. Then they put the price up to £8,400.

Each of the dealers I spoke to said they can no longer order the ES but I'm sure its fine for those who have already ordered. Would have liked one in black myself but I couldn't get one.

Just spoke to my dealer to double check and they said that my order is in with hyundai and it all looks ok, but she did say they did the same with the i10 when they were only ment to be making a 1000 of those in the ES and ended up making 5000 because of demand( which doesn't make it such a limited edition). I would have liked the grey but wasn't going to pay the extra for the matalic, so i am having the red aswell which i think suits the silver grill better anyway.

I've had my mettalic blue ES for about 2 weeks. really pleased with it and friends and colleagues seem genuinely suprised by the quality and drive (they could be humouring me though!)

My first comment of the car is the sound system is ace!

Pluged my phone into the usb, worked like a treat. So it changes my phone at the same time as playing the tunes from it. Good times!

Anyway I'll get some pics of the ES up soon.
