I've just woken up so this might be a brainfart of a suggestion, but didn't we recently experience something similar after a members service, where a connector had been left dangling near the oil filter. Simply reconnecting it cured the problem...?
I'll have a look for the post later, to see if it's the same issue.
Quick search found me this post (https://www.i30ownersclub.com/forum/index.php?topic=23663.msg258250#msg258250) which leads to this topic (https://www.i30ownersclub.com/forum/index.php?topic=22652.0).
Not the posts I was initially thinking of but possibly worth looking at anyway?
Good luck.
No plugs loose. But found out they have overfilled the oil by about 1 cm over the full mark. Could this cause the problem? How dangerous is this for the car?
If you're measuring after an overnight stand, it can read high. This is because the oil in the engine and filter, has drained back into the sump. The filter takes about 300ml IIRC. I vaguely remember a mention that the engine can sense oil overfill and if so, cuts the engine completely. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
Dealer has had a look. Says there was a retained code and they think there is an issue with the mass airflow meter / sensor.
