Title: Doesn't time fly by
Post by: eye30 on April 17, 2015, 12:19:16
Car is 3 yo next month, 16 May, so now due 1st MOT.

As it can be done up to 30 days before 3rd anniversary I've booked in for later this afternoon.

Expecting no problems as checked the obvious items such as lights, wipers, screen wash, seat belts.

Don't overlook tread depth ;)

And if you could check your own emissions while you're at it ... :whistler:

Best of luck :D

Back - centre 7mm edge 6.99mm

Emmisions may be bad today as just had beans on toast for lunch

Its more difficult to fail a vehicle nowadays compared to 30 years ago, in them days I could prod the chassis with a screwdriver or hammer checking for corrosion, now your not allowed  to do that but you have to use a corrosion assessment tool  and if you see a tester using a screwdriver or hammer you can report him to VOSA ,there was no such thing as a advisory , it ether failed or pasted and there was a lot less things to check compared to todays MOT
