Computer code analysts Source DNA, which scans apps from all the app stores for security problems, found that apps that use the AFNetworking 2.5.1 library were at risk of SSL attacks; this means the security certificate is vulnerable to hacks when data is sent or received using the app.

A patch was released in March by AFNetworking, but according to Source DNA many developers still haven’t updated their apps which means they are still at risk.
