Due to be revealed at the end of 2015, the redesigned Elantra’s styling will be similar to the updated 2015 Sonata and Genesis. That means more angular looks, also previewed by the refreshed 2016 Elantra GT.

It's the way Americans designate their cars....... if the version will be on sale the year following introduction they can call it Model (next year).
I bought my Dodge Caliber in 2006, but it was Model 2007.

I was very sckeptical about the Sonata interior. I dont like the Sonata it was one serious spet backwards for Hyundai.
The Elantra interior isnt any great either, but the centre stack looks much more chunkier and refined compared to the boring Sonata.
Still not 100% sold

The climate control portion of the centre stack is going to age very fast in terms of design...
