Title: Easy Money
Post by: AlanHo on May 20, 2015, 15:25:04
Five of the world's largest banks are to pay fines totalling $5.7bn (£3.6bn; €5.1bn) for manipulating foreign exchange or interest rates, US officials say.

Four of the banks - JPMorgan, Citigroup, Barclays, RBS - have agreed to plead guilty to US criminal charges while the fifth, UBS AG, will plead guilty to rigging benchmark interest rates.

What I don't understand is why our government does not do the same - and as a result, trouser several billions to help reduce the National Debt.

And not one single person from the banking RACKET is doing jail time.  I think that tells us all we need to know Alan.  The bankers are the masters of the universe.

You can trace that truth back to Roman times - if not before then.  Those who hold the purse strings, generally hold the power and are relatively untouchable.
