Cooper Maixner is so proud of his pub, he wants every Australian to know about it.

Wanker’s Corner is not your typical American watering hole, especially within the small, quiet town of Wilsonville, Oregon, home to around 30,000 people.

In fact, most of its customers don't quite understand the meaning behind the name of the establishment, christened after Mr Maixner’s father, the original owner of the venue, met a Welshman who demanded: “give me a drink, you bloody wanker”.

And so, Wanker’s Corner Saloon and Cafe was born.
