Well I have been waiting to post, but could not get in on my iPad while i was in Sydney.
I went up to have more tests, & stayed at my 95YO Fathers, he has a two year old or could be one year ol? Elantra 1.8 Auto, i have mentioned i have driven it a lot in past. then the last time i was up about two or three weeks back he mentioned the rear window was hard to keep clean picks up dust easy . i noticed that myself & no rear washer or wiper.
he was looking at a Mazda 3 hatch or a ?C3 ? what ever that is. i was going to ask if he test drove & if he liked, then he gave me a lift & guess what ……. in his new i30 2015 1.8 Auto he likes it now selling the elantra. this i30 has a new front he also wanted Mags but not the factory ones don't ask me? but it looks great felt quicker off the mark than the elantra, he said the auto has more gears , it also has reversing camera , and he likes the steering as has three choices. he told me to drive, i noticed it feels about same as elantra when i drive it, performance wise , but i did not give it the boot. but it defiantly steers better & ride is different i could feel it was nicer to drive.
but i'll stick to diesel. he would have to be the oldest new owner  & he does driving tests every year pass's and eye & medical every year & pass's (i hope he gets to use all his 5 year warranty )
he has now owned 4 Hyundai's, he has also owned a 1937 SS100 Jag , also forgot , in his youth he owned & road a 37 Velocet 350 KTT he still has a love of motor cycles, gets every new, Old Bike Mag that comes out, Jack Brabham had Velocet's too .

Yes Rusty , thanks'. i'm not a Mazda person. My father has younger friends he goes out with friday nights, a few own Mazda's, so he looked at them. i told him they are finished off very nicely but mechanically a bit dicy
but he does what he wants, he stuck with Hyundai & has done since he first got one.
