Any replacement ICE will be fitted by a pro installer.
I know nowt about this subject so thoughts and opinions please.
I note in the advert its said other bits n pieces may be needed for install eg DAB arial, GPS antenn, what cost does that involve?
Thanks for any help offered.

That's grossly overpriced for the low end cpu and ram, you'll find this is a better option :link: Multimedia FOR Hyundai I30 Elantra DVD GPS Satnav Navigation Stereo Radio System | eBay (http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Multimedia-for-Hyundai-i30-Elantra-DVD-GPS-SatNav-Navigation-Stereo-Radio-System-/281047107102?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_15&fits=Make%3AHyundai%7CModel%3Ai30&hash=item416fb6861e)

before you commit - check how much the maps will cost you.
They claim they are provided by Navteq - but Navteq no longer exists, it is now called HERE.
Maps and map updates from HERE typically cost from £139 to £185 for each annual update and the Hyundai and KIA maps are always at least 18 months out of date compared with Garmin who also use HERE mapping. The Hyundai and KIA HERE maps do not include speed cameras.
I would be asking the supplier to provide me with a couple of reference purchasers so I could see and check an installation with my own eyes.

The unit I linked can use Navteq or Tomtom maps :goodjob2: but I'd still advise contacting the seller for further information as Alan has mentioned regarding map costs.

Craig, the listing you provided says this:
Doesn't post to United Kingdom

Thanks for the feedback.
Have had another look around the link in the OP. Its a bit hit n miss. For example, it has all the bits n pieces for left hand drive cars......UK is right hand drive. A small, maybe insignificant point, but if they cant get their advertising correct how can any other points in that advert be taken as accurate?
Maybe worth steering clear of this supplier.
Thanks again for the feedback and info.

:goodjob: Yup - I totally agree. I made a topic along those lines a few months ago :D It went somewhere fast - not sure where exactly... except maybe an asylum  :link: Grammatik - Dealer posts on eBay, Gumtree, etc. (https://i30ownersclub.com/forum/index.php?topic=34127)
