Title: My silver i30 SLX arrived today

Howdy all,

My i30 SLX CRDi auto arrived today. It's one of the newer models that do not have the SLX badging. I didn't have time to take anything better than this picture today, but will try to take more tomorrow morning before work.

Many thanks to all the helpful people in this forum, especially to the very friendly Dazz. Without this forum, I wouldn't have gone through the purchasing process with the confidence that I did have.

These are the extras I got:
- metallic paint
- i30 carpet mats
- headlight protectors
- ipod cable
- full tank'o'juice

Some other bits that came with the car:
- 1 GB hyundai branded USB key
- plastic disposable gloves

I had a very good dealer experience too, with Maughan Thiem Hyundai in Mount Barker.

I think you'll find those disposable gloves are for wearing when you get round to removing that sticky white tape off the number plate, which a few members seem to have left on their cars :lol:

Haha good one .. yeah the white tape comes in handy, especially when wanting to avoid speeding fines ;)

I'll have to take off the dealer advertising surrounds too ..

Just a thought Nev but maybe if you are happy with their service you could just lose the window sticker and keep the number plate surrounds on for a while...

Good point Dazz ... only problem is that last night after I wrote that post I took them off  :eek: . Ahh well, word of mouth is more effective..  :)

Pretty sure she's continental silver (that's right isn't it Nev?) Hyper is about half way between continental and steel grey....
