Title: Question about HALO
Post by: chanraymond on August 06, 2009, 07:13:08
Quick question - can the front passenger open the door even though HALO is engaged? I noticed that if I pull the front passenger and driver door handle while driving (don't ask me why I did that) with the HALO locking the doors, both doors can still be opened, overriding the HALO. Cheers, and loving the SX so far. Pics tonight.

Thats what supposed to happen.

It's an auto locking feature, not auto deadlocking. It's not meant to prevent people getting out, it's there to prevent people getting in like someone stealing your stuff when you temporarily stop.

Yes thats right and if you try to open the locks on the rear doors it will automatically lock again unless your're travelling under the HALO activating speed. :)
