While looking for something slightly different stumbled upon this: :link: AV 7 inch TFT Best LCD Color Screen MP5 Bluetooth SD USB Car Rear View Mirror | eBay (http://www.ebay.com/itm/201343731636)
It is a MP5 1 multimedia rearview mirror
Part of the blurb: can play the video or audio files, enjoy HD music or movies.
Another: Scenes will be cut to rearview camera automatically while you're backing the car and change back to the original scene after that
I am not sure by 'scenes' they mean the normal purpose of a rearview mirror.
1 Read someone added 1 to MP4 to show it could play more file formats then older MP4 players

Nice! Sounds a bit dangerous and distracting though!

I wouldn't be putting any faith in the quality with that unusually low price :whistler:

Yup - I wouldn't seriously suggest anyone get one.
Just found it 'interesting'.

One of my friends who tows a large caravan has a similar video mirror.
But for a good reason
He has a HD video camera mounted in the rear of the caravan and can see the view behind the caravan in the "mirror". He has a choice between flipping the picture horizontally to represent a true mirror image or showing it as-is.
He also has the usual extended outrigger door mirrors to complement his set-up which he is happy with.

Nice! That is a good purpose to use such.
Just don't think that is the intentions of this vendor for some odd reason

I would guarantee that it's not a HD screen haha
I have one of these in my car (not for watching movies of course). It's much nicer, not as big and not one of those "clip on" ones.
I wired up a switch so I can turn my reversing camera on even when I'm not in reverse. I've used it a couple times when I've had the back filled up with stuff and I can't see out the back window. Could also use it to see the number plate of any tailgaters lol.
