About a month ago maybe more I approached my local hyundai dealer about corrosion on the alloy wheels. They took pictures and we're confident they would do something about it so I was happy enough.
Time goes by and I keep forgetting to chase them to see what's happening.
I get a call on Friday saying that they are going to replace my wheels not only that but when I mention that the steering wheel and gear knob leather is peeling he says not a problem we will have replacements ready for when you bring your car in.
This is awesome. Obviously not done yet but I couldn't be happier with the service (even though they took a while).
This is considering that the car has maybe 3-4 month warranty left on it. I was expecting avoidance tactics and total hassle to get out of doing any work.

Always a good thing they are going to check them out - less so that the car apparently missed them (AFAIK when the checks are done they are recorded with Hyundai against the VIN)... but, of course, that was in the hands of the previous owner and/or their service center.

Got it back yesterday with a number of recall checks carried out.
New alloys new steering wheel and new gear stick.
All in all very happy with the service.
