Dear All,
I'm glad to join this forum --
I'm from the Czech republic and 8 weeks ago I bought a new i30 Turbo 2015 model
I didn't hesitate about it, though the reviews of this car are not so positive. rate three stars from five !!
Being a user for 8 weeks now, I could clearly tell you that consumption is quite crazy -- but exactly as stated on the technical spec documents.
9,3L/100 km
I believe the engine could do more if they improve ECU settings up to 150 kw (204hp) as on Kia GT and Hyundai Veloster !
Chase is brilliant - design is outstanding beautiful and driving that car to work everyday gives me a good start of a day :D
I just hope that after 5 years (warranty) - I would sell this one for a stronger version which I really hope Hyundai Engineering will work for from now .. they have the potential to do so ..
note: I owned Audi A3, Audi TT, BMW 530d and now this beauty ... next time I would go again for it ..
oh, maybe they could also improve plastic parts a bit (on bumpy roads I still hear some nok nok)

Hi there Tarek :D
:welcome: to the forum.

Hi there :)

Hey mate. Welcome to the club.
Nice choice and good initial thoughts on the I30 Turbo. All you need now is to get some pictures up for us to drool over.

The turbo 1.6 would be nice, don't think we're going to get them here in Aus since our crap dollar and import fee's would blow the costs out :Pout:

Nice intro! Yes, Hyundai is lagging a bit with fuel economy on some of their newer models.
Turbo would be nice (still fairly rare on here and unfortunately unavailable in Australia) :Pout:

i30 Turbo 2015 -- never mind the color -- couldn't wait to get a black jet one :)
-
:wttc: and the photo.

Welcome

You've already entered that photo into the gallery
-
so sending more
-
Very nice. I like that colour.
-
What colour is it?
-
Browny-orangish
-
Actually called Orange-Caramel probably why i like the colour lol
-
I wish there were a better range of colours here in Oz... :undecided:
-
We miss out on so much
-
correct, it's orange-caramel .. :)
In Czech they have three colors (white, jet-black, orange caramel) -- Though I saw a red one in Slovakia (demo car) on road
it took me 6 months to decide (based on budget) between i30 Turbo new or Kia GT demo car for sale (10-15 thousand km)..
The service is cheap
The spare parts aren't expensive.
They are so proactive and keep asking for feedback
really feeling good about this choice .. :)
