Title: RAA rates 75 cars on running costs. Hyundai does very well.

As you can see here, in the "light" and "small" car categories, the Getz and i30 win respectively.

Interestingly, they found that "Hyundai diesel i30 was found to be $5.61 more expensive per week to run than the petrol equivalent.". Note this is taking into account the overall cost of the car, including purchase price and servicing.

I have access to the PDF files specified on that page, but they are only for members so don't want to re-post them publicly. If you really want any of them then send me a private message - but only if you are a regular forum contributor!
