Yup around 3p I guess from tonight, although some supermarkets are saying they're going to defer the increase.
All that, and VAT will revert from 15% to 17.5% in December too
Why can't this one-eyed government realise that the higher the tax, the fewer litres will be sold

some supermarkets are saying they're going to defer the increase.
Morrison's are deferring increase until weekend.
Problem for me is there is no Morrision's near to where I live or I don't pass near to 1 when out and about.
To travel to the nearest would cost more than what I could save.
Anyway got a 5ppl off voucher at Sainsbury's today so that should at least take the sting out of my 1st fill up at the new price.
I'll let the tank run down until nearly empty. So say 50l at 5p = 250p = £2.50 = $4.80 aud

The problem is they have us by the bo****ks cuz we all need are cars and they know it and the people that put the prices up have loads of money and don't give a sh*t. Its the normal people who will suffer again

Sainsburys have jumped on this and are doing it as well. Now do I use the 5ppl off at the supermarket or do I continue using the Shell drivers club who are giving extra points over the next 2 months which then gives me money off vouchers later (when I am in no doubt it will be even more expensive)
