Title: ebay ipod cable warning

Just thought I'd warn people that this cable

is not the same as the picture, you don't get the extra rings on the 3.5mm plug so you can't control the iPod from the deck.  I bought one after asking the seller if it was the same as the picture but it turned out to be a generic plug.

I've got the original cable but thought the split usb/3.5mm plugs would make using a usb hub possible and allow for switching betwen usb stick and iPod easily.  Anyway cable was no good, I did get my money back though so all is well.

excellent info - I saw that on feebay too, but wasn't interested as I don't use an ipod. Still, that's one of the great things about this club - we can look out for each other.  :D
