Was thinking I might pick up some oil on special to use for my next oil change.

The Castrol Edge 5W-30 A3/B4 looks suitable but in the other diesel engine oil thread I saw some use 0W-40 instead (not on sale) so I'm wondering which one I should be getting.
The car is located in Sydney, and might travel down to the snowy mountains once or twice a year.

I like a 40 oil for freeway driving & hot summers. The oil should always be full synthetic B4 only.

I have used the Castrol Edge 5W-30 (C3 as mine have DPF) and had no oil usage even when towing the caravan 3500 km on motorways @ 90-100km/h to Croatia in 35ºC. It also worked well in the winter when it was -15ºC

The Castrol Edge 5w30 would be my pick out of those, the others are too thick. That's a good price.
