Title: Ryders Hyundai - Warrington
Post by: MarkC on January 30, 2016, 15:06:23
36 month service and first MOT - £138 inc VAT.

Extremely courteous and friendly. The pricing was explained at the time of booking the service (a courtsey car was offered too), and again when I dropped the car off.

I mentioned the tarnishing on the chrome inserts that is spoiling the appearance of my alloys, and was told that thay would take photo's, send to Hyundai UK for permission, and sure enough - new chromed inserts being fitted next week under warranty.

Car dropped off at 0800, received a call to advise it was ready to collect at 11am.

The car had been washed and valeted too!

Highly recommended if you're in the Warrington area.  :goodjob2:

At that price less mot at full price (£55) = £83.00

I take it was an interim service at that price and time.

What oil did they use?

Yes, 36 months is an interim and lube service, although they did also stamp the anti-perforation warranty inspection box in the service book too.

I'm not altogether sure about the oil. It is itemised as £23.00 on the invoice, and I've checked the level post-service and its spot on and clean.

£23 seems cheap for oil even if you see it on offer at the likes of Asda.

But so long as book stamped etc warranty covered if engine needs attention in the future should hy say wrong oil used!

I'm due my 4th service in May and told a biggy one, plugs, all fluids, all filters etc so expecting ££££ bill.

There are a few dealers/authorised services centres within easy travel so will ring up for prices.

I'll include Ryders on the list as if good ££ may be worth the trip to let them do it.

Ryders are extending the workshops and showroom to keep up with demand so they must be doing it right!
