Hi Ipgoogle
:wttc:
I believe a 5W/40 would be suitable or your car. ACEA B4 and then buy as good oil as possible
-
Thank you for your replay ;)
Thats what am using lately :goodjob:
-
Check your manual all will be revealed.
So long as you comply with the requires specs, all will be ok

Your English is pretty good. I can understand it.
While I don't know what oil your car would take, I'm sure that somebody will be along shortly that does.

Shell Ultra 5W-40 is good, I use it myself :goodjob2:
-
Thanks for replayes
I used now (Total engin oil 5w40)
And if found Shell Ultra 5W40 i will change to it :goodjob2:
And want to ask another thing , i think my car spent alot of petrol ( 1 ltr = 8-9 km) is that normal or there is something wrong with car ?? I think its too much , and the petrol here so expensive 1 ltr = 1,49 $

What octane level is the fuel being used? if always used below 95 ( 91 octane fuel contains no cleaning additives ) then the injectors might need a good clean with some high octane fuel and a dose of good quality injector cleaning additive added to the fuel tank.
Also make sure the air filter is clean, depending on how dusty/dirty your roads are in your location I'd say every 15,000 to 30,000kms max for a new filter.
Economy would vary with differing terrain - hilly or flat, driving style - are you easy on the pedal or do you like to floor it?
I'm averaging about 15.6kms per ltr in my 1.6
-
I use always 95 octane , air filter and oil filter i change it with engine oil every 7,000 km
About driveing style mmmm it's depand on the mood hehehe , but how ever i drive i never reach 15.6 km per ltr .
The petrol filter i never change it till now they told me in carage it's change after 100,000 km , and BTW my car just drive 67,300 km from 2008 till now when i buy it in 2011 it was just 20,000 km.
-
How are you measuring your economy, by the cars trip meter/stated fuel usage, or are you calculating the distance travelled "divided" by fuel used?
8-9 km's to the ltr sounds more like a V8 :confused:
-
If it is a 4 speed Auto transmission that would explain your economy. The Manual is much more economical usually. :cool:
-
I measure it by full the tank and go to any place ( example 80 km ) and when i reach i full the tank again then i see how much i pay $ change it to ltr so i can know exactly how much KM car used in 1 ltr petrol.
An yes its Auto transmission D,1,2,3
-
Auto + short trips = poor economy :cool:
-
An yes its Auto transmission D,1,2,3
3 spd auto...is that correct :confused: I thought they were 4 spd :undecided:

Its like i told you there is no 4

Your auto is a 4 speed. D=4, 3=3, 2=2, 1=1
d=0.713
3=1.000
2= 1.551
1= 2.919
R=2.480
Final gear ratio = 4.619
