Hi all!
Finally got my i30 yesterday. I've only driven her 3 times as I'm a bit under the weather.
First impressions:
1) very responsive
2) very quiet
3) very soft clutch (stalled her 3 times on my 1st outing -revved too much and released the clutch too fast.. still used to my old car!)
4) very loaded - so many standard features (too many to mention, just say I didn't have most previously so all's a bonus)
5) very great!
Thanks for being a great club!
Any questions?
Cheers...

Nice car, the color looks great. I like to see 2.0 on the back of the i30's.. 8)

Hmmm, anyone in the car? Looks like the car has been 'christened'
Looks for the Titanic-style handprint on the window :D

what a beu-t-ful girl you have, looks great and looks so cool

Glad the waiting's over, I bet the 2.0 has plenty of power. I like the black steering wheel, mine is part silver but starting to peel off.

Thanks ALL!

Haha! I quickly snapped photos (phone-camera) early in the morning on my way to work.. So, glad I could easily warm the inside. Still had to pour water on the windscreen tho (the i30 doesn't have everything - ice remover!)

BUT Friends I am shocked to notice there are NO Front Wheel Mud Flaps!! I just noticed from the pics and gone out and panicked a bit!!
I ordered them and will have to bring the car back and ask what happened!
Not sure if this starts a new topic or this should be in a different thread...

Time to change the avatar too methinks :D

Congrats rjaye .. Glad you are enjoying the club and the car.. hope you feel better soon... :D
-
I like the photochopped grass in the first pic
-
Thanks Dazz! Much better now.
Shambles - had to respect the privacy of the area :)
Thank all again.. I'm enjoying the ride
From 24 km (when I got her) now at 151km.
Still getting used to soft clutch and trying my to best not to push the gas too fast. But again the engine's too quiet when at a full stop, have to be sure she's running! The tacho really helps here - and the responsive movement :)
The front mud flaps should be installed next week. No stock I'm told, and was missed as I was too excited, and wasn't mentioned unintentionally.
Cheers!
