I've just drove a crdi 1.6 for bit of a drive and although only minutes around the block I was impressed. I've signed the deal, it was an upgrade on the 2010crdi I've got at the moment. The biggest complaint I got with my car is the ride, was not impressed and the auto is quite slow on the change. Apart from not unlocking 6 times in 6 years, no problems.
I've had a few sleepless nights worrying about the DCT , doing any speech online the reviews are not positive, but in fairness it wasn't about the Hyundaui 7 speed DCT directly it was more general and going back to 2012/14 times.
I couldn't sync my Note 4 with the cars hands free system, but I don't anticipated too many problems there.
Never got into 7th gear "it's double demirt points over Anzac weekend, it's a better ride then my car, and I'm getting 7.5k/100 so the extra fuel savings will be nice.
I'm happy especially if the transmission holds up over the years, with the 5 yrs warranty it gives one some hope.

I'm toying with swapping to a 7 speed DCT i30 Tourer or i40 at some stage. I'm done quite a bit of checking and the newish Hyundai DCT seems to be a better bet reliability wise than the VW or Ford equivalent. :goodjob:
You should get low to mid 5's economy which will be nice!

I wonder where tech will be when I'm done with Firty,
... perhaps no longer driving at all, given satnav, radar and image recognition. :crazy1:
