Title: Old Blighty Bound
Post by: Doggie 1 on April 27, 2016, 08:22:26
I have sold my forty two year old unrestored Spanish Olive Leyland P76 Executive V8 automatic to an enthusiast in England.
In a few days' time I will be dropping her off at the transport depot and about a week later she will loaded aboard a ship and her journey to Dorset will begin.
I hope the owner enjoys owning this car as much as I have. It drives really nicely and sounds superb with its twin exhaust system and 4.4 litre V8.
In the club, we think the arrival of this car will bring the number of P76s in the U.K. to six.

Look pretty good to me Dave. Was that the one I've been in?

No, the only work done is on the right front fender that has been painted at some stage in its life.
I've had the car inspected and this verified.

That's how they were made. Due to the many troubles Leyland Oz had, quality control could have been better. Having said that, I believe if they'd been allowed to trade out of their problems, the P76  would have been even better than they were.
