Title: i30 Sedan (Elantra) SR to have have Turbo

Or kick some real guts into the 1.6ltr, there's no reason a 1.6 cant easily cope with 200kw+ :Drive:

Post by: Dazzler on May 02, 2016, 23:44:38: The new Honda Civic Sedan has a 1.5 Litre Turbo in higher models. Only has 127kw and 220 nm of torque but does 0-100kph in under 7 seconds and has combined fuel economy of 6.0 l/100kms ... it has my interest... :whistler:

Agree! I think the 1.6 turbo looks good on paper but doesn't perform.

2.0 turbo is in order!

I'm quite happy with the combo. If you want better performance, you should've bought a different car.

BTW

Went for a drive to go shopping. Cruised @ 100 kmh using cc on the freeway. 3 6cyl 4WD cars with caravans passed me, but on the hilly slopes I passed them, no changing down on the auto, just cruised past. :happydance: Economy was 5.4 against a head wind with 4sp auto.
