Reg Grundy, the producer behind the Australian soap opera Neighbours, has died, aged 92.
Grundy's production company created many of Australia's biggest television shows, including The Young Doctors and Prisoner: Cell Block H.
In the mid-1980s Grundy developed Neighbours with his head of drama Reg Watson.
The popular soap, which made Kylie Minogue and Jason Donovan international stars, is still running today.

92 is a good innings...shame they cant bury his TV soapies with him though :(

He was reportedly worth around A$800 million a couple of years ago! At least he had plenty of year to enjoy it. He supposedly had a 3 day party for his 85th birthday and used to own one of the world's largest yachts.
