nice rims, and some doof doof in the boot. :cool:did you work out your wires in the mirrors.
-
thx 2i30s. Yes I did. Quiet a simple job i find and i love them. Cost 33USD for the set of two.
The hardest part was putting in the LED Mod inside the mirrors. If anyone interested ill upload more info.
-
Very nice alloys I have to say :)
I watched the vid you linked to, about fitting the LEDs in the mirrors, but I wouldn't fancy peeling off the heating element as he demonstrated
-
thx Shambles
Yea I was thinking the same thing, but couldnt resist. As long as ur careful when doing it, the heating element would be fine. Well, mine is.
-
Those alloys are gorgeous on your grey car (Same colour as mine will be when delivered) however don't think my budget could stretch to them! Damn.
-
Looks good :D :D
Sensible family hat goes on and bumpkin asks "Where do you put the shopping "

How do you route the indicator wires into the car, and what do you connect hem up to to flash at the right time?
Thanks.
-
Something missing from the topmost black spoke to rim connection points???

LED indicators are wired through the side mirrors into the door, coming through into the car to the side panel indicators. Its wired to the side panel indicators so when i signal (or when the alarm is activated) in will blink too.
If you were to install them ill go through each step with you and the take photo.
Looks good :D :D

Yea they really suit the car. Im was amazed how good it looked. Love them.
My next mod(well waiting to arrive from shark racing) is the auto window relay. I always forget to put my windows back up, so this will save me out of trouble. will keep you guys posted
p.s. please join the meet in Melbourne in Nov. We need more ppl. Isn't that right '2i30s'???

Is this auto relay meant to close the windows automatically, or just provide the single manual "flick up" feature?
-
they go up once car is turned of.

Not much use if you plan on sitting in the car, nicely parked up at the lakeside, with the windows down

now thats a point.

Auto-window relay kit has the following functions.
-One-touch up and down functions for all four windows
-Remote control auto up and down functions - Arm the alarm, and all windows go up, disarm the alarm and all windows go down.
-Simultaneous function - Press the UP button for the driver and passenger side front windows at the same time, and all four windows will go up.
-Emergency stop function - If something gets caught in the window while it is closing, the motor will stop.
-All functions can be disabled by pressing the window-lock button on the driver's side.
-lower all windows with factory keyless entry remote
So i can still have my windows down by the lakeside :D :D :D
Plus In summer a can remote my windows down first before getting in the car..

Ah cheers karhung, so they are mostly "alarm sensitive".
I don't think I'd want them to go down when I disarmed the alarm tho; might be pissing it down
